Sabrina Carpenter for 2025 Vogue Italia

Like the busy woman she is, Sabrina appeared on the cover of Italian Vogue this week. She stunned in a Steven Miesel photographed shoot, inspired by “German girls of the 60s,” a nice bend of nostalgia and vintage glamour. The photoshoot was part Brigitte Bardot, part Berlin cabaret, and all elegance and black and white sexy charm.

The shoot was teased hours priors with a flirty video of Sabrina hiding in an oversized fur coat, and then was officially dropped alongside a short intro video.

"Initially, I think they told me they wanted to go very natural. And then I got there and I had a smoky eye on, I had big hair, and I was like, you know what? This is the way I want to be at this time in my life."

“I felt like I was bending like a pretzel all day but it was really fun and special and I think they felt really painless in the moment which was cool.”

The accompanying interview piece revealed to us a lot of Sabrina’s mindset in the new Man’s Best Friend era. For one, she’s doing a lot of retreating and reflecting.

“I have the feeling of doing a lot of introspective reflection. I really want to do things with intention, things that make me feel alive and that bring life to me and those around me. I’m writing a lot now, which you probably wouldn’t expect after two albums, two years in a row.”

And she also speaks to her infamous sense of humor, as well as her tumultuously relationship with the male gender.

"My whole life I felt like humor was just this, and it wasn't even always humor, I think it was usually just sort of a wit that kind of saved me. It was always there to make sure that at the end of the day I was protecting myself for the future.”

Overall this is one of her best photoshoots of the year, she looks stunning and the photos, styling, and poses are fantastic. Super excited to see what other looks she plans on serving for us this year.

Speaking of serving, Vogue somehow roped Sabrina into their iconic “Now Serving” cooking show. Where she showed the audience how to make 3 iconic “dishes”—Go Go Juice, Her Mom’s famous dip, and Puppy Chow.

Sabrina hilariously bumbles her way through all 3 (oh my god that girl is NOT a chef someone PLEASE get that knife away from her) but manages to pull it off to varying degrees of success.

Redken Feature Film 💋

Redken has announced an upcoming “feature film” with Sabrina….whatever that means.

The “film” is set to release on October 1st, 2025 and Redken has been teasing it all week! The brand has been one of Sabrina’s most consistent brand collaborations, but also a more lowkey one; so it will be exciting to see what the two cook up.
