Act I

Sunday Night, October 4th; Sabrina took the stage at ACL for the first of her last two festival sets before she’ll be back on stage for the Short n’ Sweet Tour. Instead of the branded jumpsuits we’ve become accustomed to, she hit the floor in a Dolly Parton-esq yellow tie shirt and bandana, paired with sparkly blue jean shorts.

Despite the release of Man’s Best Friend, Sabrina played her usual festival setlist, starting things off with “Busy Woman”, “Taste”, and “Good Graces”, before heading into “Slim Pickins”, “Manchild”, “Coincidence”, and “because i liked a boy”.

For her cover song, she brought out Shania Twain to sing one of the best songs of all time “That Don’t Impress me Much”. The two delivered a beautiful rendition…no thanks to Shania Twain. 🙂

Act II

For her second set, Sabrina opened with Nonsense, in a gorgeous purple Versace dress, before performing “Feather”, “Bed Chem”, “Juno”, where DJO (aka Joe Keery from Stranger Things) was very happily arrested. She switched it up by going from Juno into Tears, giving us another rendition of the iconic dance break. The show from there followed as normal with Sab going into “Please Please Please”, “Don’t Smile” (from the lift), and wrapping things up with “Espresso”.

Whether you loved it or hate it, Taylor Swift dropped her 12th studio album (featuring Sabrina) on October 3rd. Now I’ll hold my thoughts on this album but Sabrina came and DELIVERED. On her first collaboration with Ms. Swift, Sabrina (easily) manages to out-sing (let’s be hones that’s not hard), the pop icon.

In addition to their collaboration (which just might be the best song on the album, Taylor released a special CD version that includes the dressing room rehearsal version of “The Life of a Showgirl”

Ohhh leave it IN! After teasing it for a week, Redken officially dropped the full length collaboration for their new leave in conditioner, starring Brand Ambassador Sabrina Carpenter.

Just like their previous campaign advertisements, Redken fully leans into Sabrina’s innuendo filled humor, taking it and running. The video is actually pretty incredible, and Sabrina’s partnership with Redken has been one of my favorites of hers so far. Look out for a Sabrina x Redken collab analysis coming soon!

Bite sized Sabrina Carpenter Sweet Tooth perfumes are coming to Ulta! For $20…so take that as you will. We also got a tease of a potential 5th Sabrina perfume “Lemon Pie” dropping at an unknown future date…so stay tuned!
