In some genius Man’s Best Friend promo, Sabrina’s dogs, Goodwin and Louie graced the cover of Dogue Magazine. Photographed by Daria Kobayashi Ritch and styled by Lindsey Hartman, the two good boys stunned in bandannas, tiaras, and faux pearl necklaces.

While Sabrina herself wasn't present at the pups photoshoot, she did answer a few key questions about them over the phone for our enjoyment. Here’s a few things we learned!

Interviewer: Who would voice your dogs in a movie?

Sabrina: Goodwin is a very easy answer: Jeff Bridges. Goodwin has always felt like an old man since we got him, and his name sounds like an old man. For Louie, probably Tom Holland. He’s spunky.

Interviewer: What are your dogs’ weirdest nicknames, and how did you come up with them?

Sabrina: Goodwin’s alter ego has always been Badwin, which seems pretty self-explanatory. So when he’s not being a good dog, it’s Badwin. For Louie, he’s so new to this earth. When he’s being bad, I call him Lucifer, but most of the time I just call him LouLou.

Interviewer: Astrological signs?

Sabrina: Goodwin is an Aries, and Louie is a Taurus.

Interviewer: Favorite toys?

Sabrina: Goodwin’s soft bear is basically all he can handle. Louie, multiple toys, but mainly anything we throw, he fetches.

Interviewer: Favorite meals?

Sabrina: Other than begging for dinner scraps, Freshpet wet food with some cut-up fresh chicken from Dad.

Interviewer: Worst habits?

Sabrina: Goodwin, going potty where he shouldn’t. He’s old. Maybe he needs doggie Depends. Louie, overstimulation leading to mounting things, including legs.

Interviewer: Strangest habits?

Sabrina: Goodwin grunts when he’s trying to get your attention. Louie spins in circles before he poops.

Sabrina hosted her second and third Man’s Best Friend Playdates in New York City and London! Once again 26 lucky fans from each city were (consensually) kidnapped and driven to a secret location where they of course, got to listen to the album with Sabrina herself.

They were served food, drinks, wine, and thankfully no Covid-19! (LA listening party we’re praying for you….) The panties clothing line from the Manchild music video and Instagram Post also made another appearance at the New York location…hmmmmmmmm. 👀

Sabrina’s friends Whitney Peak, Amber Mark, Owen Thiele were also in attendance at the NYC listening party, as well as her photographer Alfredo Flores and stylist Jared Ellner (well yes)! I can’t lie, The New York listening party seemed like the place to be.

The final listening party was held in London, which was also the last city Sabrina made the album in. Sabrina served major Sandy from Grease vibes with her pinned up hair and black ensemble with sparkly tights!! Her style is unmatched.

This week as we rapidly approach the Man’s Best Friend release date, Billboards have sprung up all over LA and New York counting down to the main event. Island finally getting off their ass and doing some promo!

In a video on her TikTok Sabrina showed off the Man’s Best Friend vinyl variants, even giving us a glimpse of the gatefold of the original vinyl. (I for one, am obsessed.)

We also received the official track lengths!

Adding up to a whopping 38 minutes and 18 seconds, making it Sabrina’s third longest album, only beat out by EICS and Eyes Wide Open (which is shockingly is her longest).

And just when we thought Sabrina was done for the week, On August 22nd, with 1 week left until the release of the album, the much anticipated second single has been announced…Tears! Sabrina released a spooky looking teaser showing her in a car crash, yellow trench coat, and wide brimmed hat…horror homages?? Whatever it is all i know is that we can’t wait.

It has been officially announced that Sabrina will be performing at the VMAs on September 7th! Make sure you’re voting for Big Brina! She’s up for Best Pop Artist, Best Album, Best Pop, & Video of the Year.
